National Chengchi University (NCCU) is in the southeastern suburb area of the capital city, Taipei, Taiwan. Surrounded by Zhinan Hills, NCCU with its great history and environment, is a prestigious and ideal university to go.
We currently have 10 colleges excelling in Liberal Arts, Law, Commerce, Science, Foreign Languages, Social Science, Communication, International Affairs, Education and International College of Innovation；34 departments, one undeclared major in College of Communication, 43 master programs and 34 doctoral programs. Additionally, NCCU offers 12 on-the-job master’s programs, and 7 distinguished international master's programs and one international doctoral program.
Chinese Language Center (CLC) was established in 1992 and located in International Building on the campus of NCCU. Our teachers must hold either a degree of Chinese Language Education or certification issued by Ministry of Education of ROC and are mostly well experienced with 5-25 years in teaching. All our classrooms are equipped with multimedia learning devices.
Specifically, the students at our center consist of students of international or exchange programs at NCCU, foreigners and immigrants. To make sure every student gets enough attention and time to practice in class, all classes are in small size and we currently achieved teacher-student ratio of 1:8.
Besides formal language class, we also plan off campus activities in multiple aspects for free. To make sure our students not only learn Mandarin but also have an in depth understanding of Taiwanese culture.
Students are welcome to all facilitates and buildings as well as formal students of NCCU, including computer center, stadium, swimming pool, tennis fields, gym and libraries. Please always bring your student ID with you and FYI some of the venues required extra fees.
