026 Fall Outbound Exchange Student Application to Kyoto Prefectural University

College of Liberal Arts, National Chengchi University, and Kyoto Prefectural University, Japan, are conducting a student exchange program. The selection of exchange students for Fall 2026 (expected enrollment in late September) is now open for application. Students of our College are welcome to apply.

 
I. Eligibility 
Officially enrolled undergraduate and graduate students of this College.

 
II. Quota 
In principle, 1 student per academic year or per semester.
 

III. Application Requirements

Applicants must have completed at least one semester of coursework at National Chengchi University at the time of application.

Recommended language proficiency:

JLPT N2 in Japanese; or

CEFR B2 English proficiency + JLPT N3 Japanese proficiency.

V. Application Procedure (College Level)

Complete the CLA “Outbound Exchange Student Application Form” (provided by the College / downloadable as an attachment). The content must include:

Name (Chinese/English), Student ID number, Department/Institute

Email address, Contact phone number

Intended exchange semester (Spring/Fall)

Levels of Japanese and English language proficiency

The College of Liberal Arts will conduct the preliminary review and nominate recommended candidates to Kyoto Prefectural University. KPU will then arrange an online interview (conducted bilingually in Japanese and English) and subsequent formal application procedures.
 

VI. Other Important Information (Brief) 
KPU will conduct an online interview in both Japanese and English to assess study motivation, study plan at KPU, and language proficiency.

After passing the interview, applicants must submit formal application documents as required by KPU: 1. Application Form  2. Curriculum Vitae  3. Financial Statement Form  4. Pledge for Status of Residence  5. Health Certificate (within three months, chest X-ray required)  6. Official Transcript  7. Proof of Japanese Language Proficiency  8. Copy of Passport

KPU does not provide on-campus dormitories. Students will rent housing through agencies on their own. Estimated monthly rent is about JPY 40,000–50,000.

2026 年秋季派往京都府立大學（KPU）薦外交換學生申請

政治大學文學院（CLA）與日本京都府立大學（KPU）辦理學生交換計畫，即日起開始 2026 年秋季（預計 9 月下旬入學） 之交換學生甄選，歡迎本院學生申請。

一、申請對象

本院大學部及研究所正式學籍學生。

二、名額

每學年或每學期原則上 1 名。

三、申請條件

• 申請時須已在政治大學完成至少一學期課程。
• 語言能力建議：
  • 日文 JLPT N2；或
  • CEFR B2 英文能力 + JLPT N3 日文能力。

四、申請截止日期

         2026 年 2 月 23 日（星期一）

五、申請方式（本院階段）

1. 填寫政大文學院《外薦交換生申請表》（由文學院提供／附件下載），內容須包括：
   • 姓名（中／英文）、學號、系所
   • 電子郵件、聯絡電話
   • 預計交換學期（春季／秋季）
   • 日語與英語能力等級
2. 由文學院進行初審並提名推薦至京都府立大學，再由KPU 安排線上面談（以日英雙語進行）與後續正式申請。

六、其他重要資訊（簡要）

• KPU 將以日英雙語進行線上面談，評估留學動機、在 KPU 的學習計畫及語言能力。
• 通過面談後，須依 KPU 規定繳交正式申請文件：1.申請表2.履歷表3.財務狀況調查表4.在留資格誓約書5.健康證明（三個月內，需胸部X光）6.學校成績單7.日語能力證明8.護照影本
• KPU 無校內宿舍，學生將透過租屋仲介自行租屋，預估每月房租約日幣40,000–50,000 元。
